It is a concern of many parents, unsafe toys. They are right to be concerned as dangerous toys can and have caused serious harm to lots of children, although thankfully with improving toy regulations, instances are on the decrease. However, parents still need to be careful and below we highlight some of the important things to look out for to ensure toys are safe.
Sharp edges. Many toys that you might not consider to be a risk can have sharp edges that are potentially harmful. As children frequently run with their toys and play with them in a rough manner, picking up a cut or a jab from a sharp-edged toy is very easy.

So you’ve bought the crib – congratulations! But now you must be wondering what bedding you’re going to put in it. A large number of bedding sets will include many different items, but you might find that you don’t really need them all. The most up-to-date recommendation for crib bedding is to use sheets only, and keep other bedding out. Leaks will happen, of course, so buy a few extra crib sheets. It’s better to spend your money on a few really good, durable, and comfortable crib sheets than on accessories you don’t even need.

If you’re not sure how you want to decorate your nursery, start by choosing the baby bedding set. The nursery is all planned out. You’ve chosen the crib, the rug, the stuffed animals, even the light-switch covers… but have you forgotten something? When planning the nursery, you need to carefully choose your crib bedding set. Here are some of the main things to consider:
– First are foremost, consider your newborn’s comfort. Bedding should be soft, with 100% cotton being one of the best choices. Knit cotton, flannel, and high thread count woven cotton are all excellent choices.
