There are lot of people out there that feel the spa is not suitable for children and especially spa hotels but I do not feel you need to keep kids out if you are watching them. So what are the key dangers of failing to look after a child around the spa area.

The worst kind of outcome that you can have is the same as it would be from a swimming pool and it is of course drowning. Over 700 reported deaths have been reported in spas and hot tubs since 1980 due to drowning and this is of course down to the fact that people were not watching their kids around the area of the hot tub.

Next on the list of reasons why you should be watching the kids is hair entanglement. Now you may not think that this is actually a major issue but the thing is kids will often have their hair sucked into the fitting of a hot tub which of course causes the victims head to be held under water without the ability for them to pull up again. Many adults will actually get out of this kind of thing because they are strong enough but kids cannot and they really panic until their deaths.

Checking the temperature of the hot tubs is also key for taking your children anywhere near a spa and this is because the temperature can have serious effects on children. The water will not burn them but it could cause them to get a bit drowsy which of course then leads them to fall unconscious and then drown.

It is important to note that if you are thinking of taking a child to Dubai spa holidays or even Europe spa holidays that you must get a note from the doctor saying that they are allowed to go and the same goes for a pregnant lady.

Many teens and kids are always locked in their room after school to play on their computer games such as XBOX, WII and PS3. They are either on their computer games or the Internet or listening to music. To be honest I don’t remember meeting a kid or a teen who enjoys spending time with his or her parents after school unless they want to watch TV. Most kids go straight to their room after school, if not then some parents are always asking their kids to go and do their homework first and then come watch TV and when they go up they don’t come down till they are hungry for food. From this they don’t want to spend time with their family on their days off from School either so this can be pushing a lot of kids away from their parents.

I did a questionnaire research in my school few months ago asking kids on what they would like to do on their holidays. Shockingly they admitted they would love to go on luxury cruises with their family other than doing the same thing over and over again. Some screamed I don’t want to visit my Grand parents this easter break. Hey it wasn’t me who said it, it was the kids. Then I asked them where they would like to go? Most of them said they would love to go on a royal Caribbean cruises and few replied Holland American line cruises. It is amazing isn’t it, I bet you never thought your kid will come up with that answer. Kids these days are far more intelligent and demanding than when I was a kid.

So I advise many parents to take their kids on a cruising holiday. Don’t look at it as a holiday or a fun activity for your children look at it in this way you can bring your family close together. Spending time with each other is a great way of bonding. You will also learn a great deal about each other on this trip and this is very important for any family.

Now that Spring is within sight that means it must be time I looked at sorting out my Summer holiday. We normally tend to either travel to Florida or Spain.

Last year we all enjoyed Florida, so that means that this year we are back to Spain. They are 2 very different holidays. Whereas Florida is absolutely action packed and really busy, Spain is by contrast a very quiet holiday with days spent lazing around the pool and then venturing out in the evening for a nice meal.

This year it is going to be very strange as it will be the first time my son hasn’t travelled with us on holiday. He has decided that he is going back to Florida and will be taking his girlfriend!

We will all miss him, especially my teenage daughter. In previous holidays it wouldn’t be unknown for the two of them to spend their entire days fooling around in the swimming pool. We always take the lilos, rubber rings, splat balls etc. Last time I managed to buy a load of water bombs and I will admit we all had great fun with those.

This year I suppose my husband and I are going to have to try and keep our daughter entertained. Mind you it’s not that big a problem because hubby turns into the biggest kid of all when we are on holiday!!

Although I love messing about around the swimming pool, the evenings are my favourite time. It gives me a good old excuse to glam up and wear all the new summer clothes I have bought.

Usually because of the vast array of restaurants on offer, we have the normal arguments about who wants to eat what and end up wandering around all night trying to choose.

Personally speaking give me a Comida Mexicana restaurant (Mexican to you and I). My husband loves his steaks, so he is pretty well catered for at any restaurant. My daughter loves her pizza, but never tries anything other than Margarita!!

When we visited Spain a couple of years ago, we even took advantage of a food delivery service being offered at one of the local Spanish restaurants. Food delivery in Spanish is known as Comida a domicilio, so watch out for that next time you are on holiday.

Going to Disneyland as child are some of my most cherished memories. My parents looked forward to taking us all year, and they made it an annual ritual. My dearest memory was getting to see the costumed characters, though at the time I thought I was getting to see the REAL Mickey Mouse.

For Disney fans, the Mickey Mouse Costume is the best choice for Halloween. The Mickey Mouse Costume perfectly captures the spirit of Disney, and is a fun way to celebrate Halloween. There are many options to choose from.

The Infant Mickey Mouse Costume – This is so adorable for babies!! It’s made of a terrycloth material, so it’s extremely soft. Available in a one-piece pajama version, complete with diaper snaps, which can be worn alone or over top of a layer of warm clothing. Really well made with great details.

The Disney Mickey Mouse Costume for kids – a friend of mine told me that her son wears his Mickey Mouse Costume throughout the year, and believes he is the real Mickey Mouse! Available in a well made version with a white shirt, sequined bow tie, black jacket, red pants, and mouse ears of course! This is an officially licensed Disney Mickey Mouse Costume.. Black shoes finish off the look, making your little Mouseketeer ready for Trick-or-Treating!

Minnie Mouse Costume for girls – The Minnie Mouse Costume is available in many sizes for babies, toddlers, little girls and big girls. What fun to dress up your son in a Mickey Mouse Costume while you go as Minnie?

Mouse Costume – if you are looking for something outside the Disney realm, there are some great mouse costume options available, everything from a sweet mouse to a scary mouse costume. Time for a little creativity!

Looking for a family theme? Consider having everyone go as their favorite Disney character. Mom could go in a Minnie Mouse Costume, dad in a Goofy costume, and the kids in a favorite character. Little girls can choose from Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella, Jasmine or even Tinkerbell.

Halloween is quickly approaching, so order your costume now. Happy Trick-or-Treating!

Holidaying as a couple or with friends should be appreciated for the amount of flexibility it grants you and for how easy it all it to arrange. When you throw kids into the mix however, things tend to get a little bit more complicated and the amount of flexibility you have is dramatically reduced. Lets take a look at some of the most appropriate places you can visit with your kids.

Orlando Holidays. This one might be a bit obvious, but you’ll have a hard time finding a child who won’t love a holiday to Orlando. You have Disney Land Resort for starters, which is a two week holiday in itself, but there are lots of other places in Orlando that are well worth paying a visit to. The Kennedy Space Centre is not only incredibly fun but also one of the most educational USA holidays around, whilst Sea World allows kids to see animals they have only dreamt about or seen in movies.

Europe. One of the most important factors when taking children on holiday is the temperature. Children are less able to cope with extremes of temperature and will not enjoy themselves if it’s too hot or cold. So you don’t want to be taking them on Alaska holidays or indeed a trek round the Sahara desert, but instead find somewhere with modest climate. Most places in Europe during spring and autumn are ideal and you have plenty of choice where to go.

Theme Park. Holidays don’t always have to be about going far away or seeing brand new sites. Many theme parks these days provide accommodation as well, so you don’t have to just visit for a day and try to cram everything in. Children are very difficult to keep entertained for any length of time and often needs lots of new things to experience to keep them happy. Theme parks are the ideal place to keep your kids stimulated so you don’t have to worry about constantly finding the next thing to do.

It is always possible to put together an individualized preschool teacher curriculum and one of the options open to preschool teachers in this regard is to purchase home-school preschool programs that are readily available from a number of different providers of preschool teacher curriculum. At the same time, it is also a good idea to draw inspiration from many of life’s experiences and though this is less structured approach it can still make any preschool teacher curriculum a lot more fun and effective . Read And Explore

In case you opt to make your own preschool teacher curriculum you would then need to do plenty of reading and explore life in more depth and also delve into what children love to do the most and how do they like to learn things. In fact, designing your own personalized preschool teacher curriculum can be inexpensive as well as less structured and thus well worth considering as an alternative to the costlier and more structured curriculums available on the market.

If however, you choose to go the personalized preschool teacher curriculum way then you will first of all need to start with making a rough sketch of the learning goals you are going to set for the preschoolers and if you need help in this regard you just need to check any of the many websites that can help you evaluate preschooler’s weaknesses and strengths.

Having established what preschoolers learning goals should be, you can take another step in creating a suitable preschool teacher curriculum by searching online for some ideas regarding the coming school year. In addition, you should also use a calendar to help mark out different seasons as well as underline holidays as well as fit in different themes that you would want to include in the learning material which could depend on the time of year.

You need to also include field trips in the preschool teacher curriculum as teaching children through first hand experience is sure to bear rich fruits and it will also help to grab the attention of the preschooler who will then concentrate better on what is being taught.

To be sure, today the demand for preschools has grown by leaps and bounds and there are a number of factors that make it necessary to have preschool daycare for little children and among these factors is the greater numbers of single moms as well as the increasing numbers of working moms and dads who are simply too busy to look after their little ones and thus need outside help.

Thus, there is a lot of scope for creating an innovative preschool teacher curriculum and you can even use any and all material that is found lying about the house including old boxes, plastic jars and even colorful items that are well loved by preschool aged children.

A home daycare seems like it would be the ideal business for many women who would like to stay at home, but still need to bring in an income. Choosing to open a home daycare can be a challenge, and it does involve many big decisions that should be taken seriously.

A home daycare is a big commitment that involves using your home for a business. Before jumping into this business it is probably a wise decision to find out about what would be needed for this business.

Space

Some things that will be important to a home daycare are is there enough space within your home to accommodate this type of business. Consider what age children that you will be working with. If infants are your target group, you will need to have cribs, strollers, blankets and toys that stimulate this young age group. If it is older children, a type of before and after school program, activities are a good idea and should be looked into. With this age group, it is good to keep in mind that during summer months and holidays they will need daycare and this is something to consider.

Finances

Many items for a home daycare can be purchased at second hand stores and garage sales. It may take some time to build up enough stock to feel ready to open a home daycare. Also it may be a good idea to check with an accountant to find out if anything can be used for tax purposes. A tax accountant can provide important information about taxes and how to file the proper paperwork when owning a home daycare.

Demand and Supply

If after evaluating your home space and making a decision on the target age group, you feel this is a good avenue for you, it is time to find out if there is truly a need for another home daycare. Find out how many home daycares are in business in your area. This can sometimes be done by calling a daycare referral service that lists daycares.

Call these home daycare providers and find out if they have wait lists. If there seems to be a lack of providers discover how to get on the referral list so that your business is already being marketed.
