Cool New Pumpkin Carving Tips

health

A couple years ago a some great jack-o-lantern carvings showed up on the world wide web. A finely carved pumpkin but nothing too had to do. Two eyes, a nose, and a wide, gaping mouth that was in most ways unextraordinary.

What made this the best pumpkin carving was that whoever did it took the scooped out innards of the pumpkin and arranged them in a way that made it seem that the jack-o-lantern was caught in mid-vomit. Some times too much punch from a holiday party can make one feel this way. Every time I see this image in my head I have to laugh out loud.

Going to Disneyland as child are some of my most cherished memories. My parents looked forward to taking us all year, and they made it an annual ritual. My dearest memory was getting to see the costumed characters, though at the time I thought I was getting to see the REAL Mickey Mouse.

For Disney fans, the Mickey Mouse Costume is the best choice for Halloween. The Mickey Mouse Costume perfectly captures the spirit of Disney, and is a fun way to celebrate Halloween. There are many options to choose from.

Be The Star Of The Halloween Party

What’s you favorite day of the complete year?  Please don’t tell me that it’s your birthday.  Sure it’s entertaining to get presents, but I was thinking on a grander scale.  You know, a certain day when mystical powers are at play and joy is in the air.  No, I am not talking Santa and christmas.  I’m referring to the single most strange day when spirits become corporeal and demons frolic amongst us.  OK, so maybe I went a tad far there, but you get the picture.  There’s just one big day when all of this may occur.  Easter!  Basically let me try another time.  Halloween!  Yes that’s the one.  Are you prepared for scary goblins, creepy ghosts and candy-crazed children?  Well, you’d better start purchasing those treats because All Hallows Eve will arrive before you know it.  Oh, and do not forget your terrifying costume.  I may bet a set of Halloween contact lenses would compliment it completely.

Secrets to Fantastic Children’s Halloween Costumes

Friday, September 19th, 2008

Homemade children’s Halloween costumes can be fun to make if your children help, but you have to consider the cost and time you put into it if the children are not participating and learning how to do it with you. Sometimes it can be more economical to save your time and buy a ready made costume at the prices now available in the shops.

One way to ensure you do not spend excessive time on making a costume from the raw material on up, is to start with old clothes from the family closet or a thrift shop. That way, most of your effort goes into the fun part your children enjoy being part of – making the accessories and getting made up for the part.
