Lego Millenium Falcon Assembly

Star Wars Lego is simply the most amazing thing if you listen to my 9 year old boy. He has been building legos since he was around 8 years and he has built Bionicles and the other City sets but Star Wars Lego Sets are by far his favourite.

There are many Star Wars Lego to choose from, you can either be a good guy Jedi or maybe  the Dark Side. He first was building some of the basic Star Wars Lego Sets and is always looking for the next good set to get. Each time we go to the toy shop we need to check and see if there is a new Star Wars Lego Set out.

The biggest Star Wars Lego Sets he has built so far must have had 400 pieces. I remember it was almost fifty dollars and my son was kept busy for a few days. Every so often he would come over and show me how some part went together and what it could do. One of my favorite Star Wars Lego Sets he built is one of the walkers, the Imperial AT-ST (All Terrain Scout Transport). It was a bit hard to build because so a lot of the pieces are gray. It looks mighty fine on display. The Millennium Falcon lego set has more than 5,000 pieces and is the largest and most complex Lego product ever released!!

Star Wars Lego comes in sets as low as $10 and right up to hundreds of dollars!!. While the smaller Star Wars Lego Sets are relatively easy to build, usually having only a few bags of parts, some of the bigger Star Wars Legos have many bags of parts and several assembly manuals. One thing we found out Lego does, is the parts bags are grouped so that all parts for a section are grouped together. So when my boy constructs a Lego set, he puts each bag into a little container rather than all of them together in one huge container.

One thing I have noticed about Star Wars Lego, and it probably holds true with any Lego set, is my son always wants to see what Star Wars Lego minifigures come with the kit. Some of the Star Wars Lego Collectable sets come with 4 or 5 Star Wars Lego minifigures. This is very important in the Lego world. In fact all of the mainstays of the Star Wars movies are available in Lego form. Darth Vader has his own easily recognisable head and head shape, as do the Stormtroopers, Yoda and many other Lego minifigures. Yes, lightsabers are available with some minifigures as well and some used to light up!

One day when I thought that my son had bought all the Star Wars Lego Sets, I searched online to see what sets are available. Wow!! That’s where I found out just how big some of the Star Wars Legos can be. You can even build the Death Star, but it’s expensive and you have to have the patience. My son says he will buy it oneday. Also available of course is the amazing Magna Droid Fighter. Other Star Wars lego vehicles and ships including the 7144 Slave 1, 7674 V-19 Torrent Starfighter, a Rebel Blockade Runner and 7681 Separatist Spider Droid. There are also location sets like the 4480 Jabbas Palace, it’s a really cool Star Wars Lego collectable.
