I know that new parents are often overwhelmed by the number of things they need to look after, so I’d like to point out something that might be missed. Crib bedding (especially baby girl bedding!) is adorable and can seem like a vital necessity. Just keep in mind that baby bedding has been the cause of crib suffocation for some infants. To avoid a disaster, use a firm mattress in your baby’s bed and make sure the sheets fit tightly. Be sure you empty the crib of anything soft or fluffy – like pillows or loose bedding – before you put your baby in. Newborns should be dressed warmly rather than covering them with blankets.

You should seriously consider a baby bedding set, because it will be much less work than trying to buy individual items. There are many different themes for babies and toddler, from Winnie the Pooh or Spiderman to Paisley Park 4 piece bedding sets. There are such a wide variety of choices that if you can’t find it, it probably doesn’t exist!

The first thing you need to do is decide what you want, then go looking for nursery bedding. Have you chosen a theme for the nursery? Will the bedding fot your crib? Think about the wall color you’ve chosen – will your bedding match it? Think about these things, then start looking for bedding.

If you want to know the best place to hunt for bedding, it’s the Internet. There are many retailers online, offering a tremendous selection of bedding. Be sure to compare prices and look for deals, because decorating a nursery is not cheap. You might think you can get a better price at a department store than online, but this is usually not the case. The easiest way to be sure is to go to a department store and check their prices, but don’t be surprised if they’re significantly higher than ecommerce stores.
